Do I Really Believe, What I Really Believe?
During the night I was starled by an earthquake. During the following day we had another one, and then a another very tiny one.
When directly faced with my fear, I had to choose, Am I going to freak out and be scared for the rest of my time here, or am I going to trust that God’s plan is sovereign and that He has me right where He wants me? The Bible tells us, “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
Do I really believe that Heaven is an awesome place that I want to go to when I die, or do I love my life here so much that I don’t want to go be with my creator.
I was faced with some tough questions today, but over all I can hold tight to the verse that says, “I have not given you a spirit of fear.”
