This is Son of God Orphanage...just one of the places that gripped my heart while in Haiti.










There are 124 children that reside here.



They live in a 3 story building that I have a hard time understanding how it DIDN'T fall during the Earthquake.



The first time I saw this place, they didn't have any food.



...didn't have any drinking water.



...didn't have any more bathing or cleaning water.



...didn't have enough clothes.





Many were sleeping in the streets...the make shift shelter on the left came after a couple months...









Some had the blessing of using a bed...here's one of those beds.










The back of the house contained an area where children could play, eat, clean and pee...I'm assuming some of the kids also sleep out there but I'm not sure. Upstairs found a cracked room for a church and a couple rooms devoted to education. It looks much like this:























SO...





With the money given by a weekly team coupled with the money given by a couple (given through a church), we bought some mattresses.





It took three vehicles to get 37 small mattresses,

and one Baby Bed...
